Amextra: Lottery! Nutrition for me and all my friends. Fund

In Mexico, 1 out of 4 indigenous children suffer from chronic malnutrition and, in the Los Altos region of Chiapas, 9 out of 10 people do not have food security. Without proper nutrition in their formative years, children in Tzotzil communities grow up without the energy to play, create and learn. The municipalities where Amextra collaborates in this project are among the 5 municipalities with the highest percentage of families living in poverty in Mexico. How can you contribute? With your donation done between Sep 12 and 30, 2022, we will be able to provide 70 rural families with supplies and training so that they can produce and consume their own food. The 6 strategies to achieve access to healthy and local food are: 1) Community greenhouse maintenance. 2) Community chicken coop installation. 3) Workshops on agroecological techniques. 4) Recovery and distribution of native seeds. 5) Workshops for preparing diverse foods of local production. 6) Breastfeeding workshops.
